In 1996 when I established my first company, Selinger Enterprises, Inc., it was to fill a void that existed on Long Island. That being to provide no-conflict, tenant representation services to companies as they sought solutions to their real estate issues; whether to lease, buy or sublease. Since most companies only address these issues once every five to ten years, they are at a great disadvantage when going against landlords and their agents who negotiate real estate 24/7. The corporate executive needed someone to level the playing field and represent them with no conflict of interests. Thus began Selinger Enterprises who for the past 20 years has helped Long Island executives find the right solution for their real estate needs.
Due to its early involvement with LISTnet as a founding member, Selinger Enterprises has always specialized in helping tech companies. Recently the tech industry has become more dependent on its office location as a reflection of its corporate culture, it’s branding and to attract and retain employees. Selinger Enterprises recognized this changing paradigm and began a new company called SEtech to focus solely on the needs of these tech companies.
